I deeply love working with clay, and have made many statues, as well as specific handbuilt items, many of which have been fired in my home wood-fired barrel kiln, like this example here.

Clay connects me with the natural world in a very deep and profound way, and working with my hands to shape, and reshape, to coax the clay into whatever form it wants to take, is a beautiful way of expressing oneself.
